I realise that this is quite an old topic, but I wanted to share my results in case they are helpful for someone else.
I took a closer look at the original shuttle hook, and noticed that it appeared to have been broken & repaired (brazed) with brass at some point in time. I suspect that the hook might not have the original shape, or at least that may be why it's had such difficulties.

But I realised that the size was nearly identical to the one used for a Singer 29k, aside from a slightly different shape under the 'hook' part. So, I ordered a replacement bobbin & shuttle for the Singer 29k (a cheaper one since this was only a test). I marked the areas that needed to be removed, and modified it by grinding, sanding, and polishing. I am happy to report it was a success! And now I can order replacement bobbins as well. :D

I am attaching some photos below, hopefully this helps someone else in a similar situation.

I wonder, if it is possible to transfer as 29/small shuttle machine or a Patent elastic into a big bobbin one.
(ok, there are also Singer 29 with big bobbins, but all my 29 are small bobbin)

Not possible cause the casting and shuttle driver / shuttle carrier are made the way that they only can accommodate a certain size of hooks. Large hooks requires a new and matching hook and shuttle driver (incl. needle plate) and they are for sure no longer available.

Ich würde Euch bitten wieder in deutsch zu schreiben dann ist es für alle einfacher.
Nicht jeder spricht gut englisch.

Kurzfassung meines englischen Beitrags:
Ich hab mich gefragt, ob man eine Singer 29 mit kleiner Spule auf große Spule umstellen kann, und auch eine Patent Elastc umstellen kann.
Denn Singer 29 mit großer Spule sind nicht grad zahlreich.

Adler104 hat dies verneint
